I’ve owned these sunglasses for around 1 month now, and I feel like it’s my responsibility to inform other people how much I do not regret my purchase. To start, the price is steep. Paying almost $300 for a pair of sunglasses is hard to justify, but after undergoing Lasik Eye Surgery, I needed to get a pair of polarized lenses. I had a few lineups of styles I like, but I settled on the Portland’s. The build quality is excellent. Granted, I haven’t but much stress on the frames, but they feel reliable.
Speaking to the quality of the lenses, now, there was an incident where I’d accidentally dropped them lenses first on the ground. They fell at least 5ft, and I cringed when they hit the floor. Upon inspection, the lenses were absolutely scratch-free.
Aesthetically, they’re just the right fit for my large, square jaw. Overall, I very much recommend Gresso’s Sunglasses, and specifically, these pair of sunglasses.
Side note: If you’re going to buy these, I recommend getting polarized lenses. My optometrist informed me that regular dark lenses relax your eyes, but do little in the way of protection against the sun’s UV rays. Your eyes get more damaged without polarized lenses.
